Becky and Michael drove over from Jonesboro with some family members to do an engagement shoot and a few bridal portraits last fall and after spending the afternoon with them, I knew their wedding was going to be an incredible time.  I’ll post their wedding photos soon, but I have to say, I was absolutely correct.  I LOVED working with these guys.  Here are a few pics from their engagement session.

Okay,  so I’m still catching up…. hang in there with me.

Here are a few shots from Austin’s session.  He’s a pretty interesting guy to hang around.  Intelligent. Musically talented.  Funny as can be.  Actually, maybe I can get him to come back and we’ll do another session so I can laugh some more.

Okay, I nearly died on the way to this shoot,,, so I had a bit of adrenaline going as I shot.  I had a car come around a curve in my lane and we barely missed hitting.  Thankfully I didn’t wipe out when I headed off the highway.  So, I met Sonya in Calico Rock for her senior portraits and ended up with some great stuff.

Twenty three years ago today, I stood, nervously in a stairwell in Reid Hall… and after a long LONG time, I finally worked up the nerve to kiss this girl.  A year and a half later we were married.  Now, we have four kids and a life full of happiness… joy, sorry, tears, laughter, arguments… and on and on and on.  It’s beautiful.  Thanks to every person who has shared in our lives together.

This was as close as I had to show you what we looked like 23 years ago….  I think I’m pretty lucky.
