The MHHS Graduates of 2010

Congratulations to my niece, Jordan and her classmates.   I’m not going to write some cheesey greeting card message,,, I’m just going to say congratulations and best of luck in the future.  I know some of you are going to college, some into the military….. regardless of where you go in life, remember to have fun.

Kelsey, Sr. 2010

Last week we were going to photograph Kelsey for her senior portraits, but 25 mph winds with gusts from 30 to 40 mph kept us from being able to shoot in the locations she wanted to go…. so we pushed the shoot back.  Yesterday we were blessed with AWESOME weather.   She brought along her friend, Saige, and we were thrilled to have her tag along.  Saige kept Kelsey laughing and we ended up with some beautiful stuff.

Here are a few from her gallery.  I’ve put one of Saige into the mix…. but she didn’t want to be featured since… so she’s just shown helping us with the big light shade.  Oh, and Kelsey gave us a fun silhouette shot out in the field.

Callie, Sr. 2010

Callie is like one of the family,,, well more like a member of the family who always makes you laugh.  As such, I was thrilled to be able to do her senior session.  She definitely loves being in front of the camera and we had too much fun shooting her pictures.  Also, I found a great new place to take my kids to play in the water, thanks to her dad.

Here are a few quick selections from her session.

Tommy, Sr. 2010

Okay, one more senior blog post for today. We had so much fun with Tommy’s shoot. He’s got a great smile, but also has an incredible serious look. We started with a quick session in the studio then headed outdoors to incorporate his car into some of the shots. The last shot I’m going to post of him makes me realize, once again, that I need to get off my butt and start exercising.

And one more.  Just so people can see that I did actually take pictures of Tommy smiling.

Jessica, Sr. 2010

First, a big thanks to Dana, Jessica’s mom, for being so much help and holding a reflector for me.  She was a natural and I appreciated all the help.

Now, Jessica seems to be one of those girls who loves the camera… and the camera loves in return.  We ended up with some AWESOME stuff from her session.  I’m thrilled to finally get them up on the blog.

Drew, Sr. 2010

Let’s just start off with saying I love Drew’s family.  We’ve photographed the weddings of both his older brothers and being around them, we feel as if we’re with our own family.  So I was thrilled to shoot Drew’s senior portraits.  Here’s a few shots from his session… and Susan, he’s actually smiling.
