Two of my favorite people on the planet are about to join the ranks of “Mom and Dad”… and I am beyond thrilled for them.  They are two of the most beautiful people I know and when baby Emily Ann arrives I’m heading to Russelville so I can play with the new baby.  (If Whitney will let me.)  Thanks for letting me document this occasion in your lives.

Brandy knew what she wanted out of her session and was prepared when she arrived at the studio.  There are so many of her images that I am in love with and cannot wait for her to see the final gallery.  She and Daniel were just incredible to work with, as they were comfortable in front of the camera and were so willing to play, in order to get the photos we wanted.

Here are a few of my favorites from the session…. a mix of family and maternity portraits.

Trisha and I have the coolest jobs on the planet. Several months ago we met Brittany and Jeremy and had the pleasure of photographing their wedding reception in Jonesboro, AR. We wished we’d been able to play with them on the beach when they were married, but we were already booked, so we caught back up after they returned home for the reception.

Here’s one photo from the reception. I just love how beautiful Britt is in this photo.

Last week we once again spent some time with Britt and Jeremy at their home in Jonesboro for Britt’s maternity session. Here are two of my personal favorites from that session. The photo of Jeremy holding onto her belly leave little doubt as to how much he is in love with Britt.

So, congratulations to one of the coolest couples we’ve met.  We can’t wait to see the baby.

We recently photographed Sara for her maternity session and were given the opportunity to do something different for maternity photos than we normally do.

Now, with Sara being my niece, I may be a bit biased, but we had a blast.  It was so much fun getting to document this major event in her life, but it also made me a little sad to realize that my brother’s little baby girl is no longer a baby girl.  We were also lucky enough to have Randy, seen in the second photo, come along with us so that we could also get photos of him with Sara.  Too often we’re missing the father in the photographs when we do maternity portraits.

This session allowed us to show a few more than we normally do, so here are four quick picks from her shoot.
