A few days ago, Trisha and I met the Koeberlein family at the lake where they have all gathered to celebrate 40 years of marriage.  The mom and dad came in from Illinios, as did one of their sons, while other family members came in from Colorado and Georgia.  It was great to be able to spend a little time with them, and more importantly, provide them with some very casual portraits to document this celebration.

It was amazing that after just over an hour with them I felt as if they were close family friends.

Another of our great couples celebrate one year of marriage today.  Daniel and Brittany had a beautiful ceremony last August 4th in Little Rock at the Albert Pike hotel,,, and I was there to share their wedding day.

So congrats guys.  Hope each year continues to be better than the previous.

Today I figured it would be a good time to start a new category on our blog….. anniversaries.

One year ago today Trisha and I spent a hot Saturday afternoon shooting Ty and Cari’s wedding…. and then for the next several months, they’d just pop into the studio from time to time to say hi. Here’s a couple of frames from an impromptu session Cari and I shot when she stopped by last winter.

Let’s also revisit a couple of their engagement photos and a couple of my favorites from the wedding.
