There are so many things about my job that I love, and one of those things is that I get to know photographers from all over the world. I got to know Teri on a photography forum a few years back and just love talking with her. Not only is she a great photographer, she’s a wonderful person. Last night Teri and I were chatting on facebook and while discussing Moon Pies, she mentioned that she would love some. See, Teri was born in Alabama, grew up in the South and for several years has been living in the UK. It seems she is missing some good American junk food.
The point of this post,,, just to keep her drooling until the care package arrives at her door.
Teri, the package is on its way. There are also two items we didn’t discuss, but they’re two of my favorite guilty pleasures. I’m not sure if you’ll like them or not, but I’m sending them anyway.
If you want to check out her work, you can find it here… Murakami Photography.

When I take time to look, I remember that nature is hiding beauty in the smallest places.

Sunday our kids made a sign for us to hang over the enterance to our garden. It is to remind us that happiness can be found in many different places. We found happiness right in our back yard. Working together, all six of us, we have grown a nice 1800 sq. ft. garden that will give us tons of food. I love that our kids can see the fruits of their labor, literally.

The lovely, Saucy Stacey Doyle, a friend and fellow photographer from Rhode Island is the best. I love her work, which you should check out here…. Stacey Doyle Photography. A few days ago she asked for my address, but didn’t say why she needed it. Today our mail lady walked into the studio with a box. I am in heaven now, enjoying a huge box of Block Island Salt Water Taffy. Hopefully I’ll be able to save some to share with my kids this evening when I get home.
I would put up photos of it being eaten,,, but I’m too busy eating it.
Thanks Stacey. You’re the best. Now I’ll send you something that we love from our local area.
