The Bolt Family

I love my job, but when I can’t talk, it’s hard to do it effectively. Luckily since I had lost my voice, I had Trisha with me to help out. Luckily the Bolt crew was understanding and stayed with me while I squeaked my way through their shoot. Here are a couple quick selections from their gallery.

Candice and Julian

Candice had been trying for several weeks to do her engagement session, but the weather kept messing with us.  After two rescheduled appointments, we were finally able to find beautiful weather and beautiful light.   The problem with doing engagement sessions, is that it makes me anxious for the wedding to arrive.  Now I have to wait a few months before I get to spend the day with these two and their families.

Candice and Julian drove up from Little Rock on Sunday for an outdoor shoot, that ended up being AWESOME!!! They are so comfortable together and after just a couple of minutes,,, seemed to be comfortable in front of the camera.  Here are a few pics from their session.

Haley, Sr. 2010

Haley and her mom, Brenda, came up from Pottsville, AR for her senior portraits, and man,,, we laughed and laughed and laughed.  Somewhere in there, we also took some AWESOME photos.  This girl has eyes that LOVE the camera.  I hope she loves the results as much as I do.  Here are five of my quick selections from the shoot.

I promise, there are a lot of her smiling, too.  I just happened, apparently, to pick out ones where she’s got the serious look going.

Brittany, Sr. 2010

You know how much I love my job,,, right?  Well yesterday was the reason I love it so much. Beautiful spring afternoon weather, gorgeous client who knew where she wanted to go and her mom who was just too cool.  We went to some of the most unsuspecting locations and ended up with some of the most unbelievable results.  Here are a few from the session, but I know as I go through the gallery I’m going to find some that I like even better.

Jacquelyn, Sr. 2010

Wind.  Wind.  More wind.  This seems to be something that follows Jacquelyn around.  We abandoned our first attempt due to an ugly sky and crazy wind.  On our second attempt, we had beautiful light,,, and more wind.  It didn’t matter, because we also had to contend with wasps.  Turns out, she does NOT like having them fly around her head.  I don’t blame her.  So by the time our session was complete, we’d gotten a ton of beautiful shots.  Here are a few quick selections.

Whit and his mommy.

Just a few quick pics from Whit’s session.  Such a cute little boy who has tow adorable siblings.  I can’t wait until we shoot the entire group of them.
