Four days later… Allie and Tyler

So Allie and Tyler were in town for a few days before they headed out for their honeymoon and we took advantage of their being here to do a few more photos.   Oddly enough,,, it was still HOT.  I’m so ready for autumn’s arrival, but  at the same time, I love the look of summer photos.  Anyway, here area few quick selections from the session.

Tyler and Allie …. Aviston, IL

This past Saturday Trisha and I spent the day with Allie and Tyler at a winery outside of  St. Louis.  Hidden Lake Winery made for a beautiful backdrop for their wedding ceremony and reception.  The weather was traditional July weather… for Mississippi…. but I hadn’t expected it to be that hot in Illinois.  We were even treated to a power outage during the reception.  Although the power was out, the celebration continued.  The DJ just raised his voice and helped everything flow right along.

Okay, there is so much I can say, but the truth is nobody really cares what I ramble on about…. you want to see the pictures.  So let’s do it.  Here are several of my favorites from the day.

Justin and Ruth – Batesville, AR

HOT!!!!!!!!!  That’s how my day started.  As I crossed the river in Batesville, the temp (according to my car) was 104f.  I was just praying that I could keep enough water with me to make it through the hot part of the day.  The couple, however, was cool as could be.  I instantly felt as if I had been friends with them for years.  Such an awesome group to work with. …. energetic, fun and absolutely in love.  I was thrilled to be part of the entire event.  Wait, the entire event except for the portion where the rain was hitting my bald head at 55 mph.  That part hurt.  Other than that, I could not have asked for a better Saturday.

Here are a few of my favorites from the day.  Actually, there are a ton more that I love, but I finally had to pick out a few to get on the blog.

Josie and Matt – Mtn. Home, AR

Josie and Matt are married.  After meeting them at Lydia’s Weddings this winter during a beautiful falling snow, I got to reunite with them on a cloudy spring Saturday.   Luckily the weather cooperated and while we had to deal with moderate temps and cloudy skies, we didn’t have to deal with rain.

If you’ve not seen Lydia’s Weddings, you really have to check it out.  Cynthia has one of the premier locations for weddings in this part of Arkansas.

So back to Matt and Josie…  I had such an awesome time with them and their friends & families.  I had so much freedom to move about and document very personal and beautiful moments throughout the day.  When you see Matt look at Josie, you cannot help but smile.  I smiled a LOT during their wedding.

Here is a quick look at their wedding day.  I won’t be surprised if I add more photos later,,, after I’ve actually had time to go through all of them.  For now, we’ll start with these.

Josh and Meghan – Russellville, Arkansas

Josh and Meghan are married… and I was lucky to be part of their wedding day. I woke up Saturday morning to cloudy skies. I drove to Russellville through rain. Lots of Rain. I was happy to arrive to sunshine and beautiful weather… and a beautiful bride.  Oh,,, and the groom was a pretty good looking guy, too.

There are so many things I love about weddings, but all day long I kept catching Josh and Meghan looking at one another… and this is one of my favorite things.  I love when the couple is so in love that they can’t stop smiling at each other.

Here are a few pics from the wedding day.
