I LOVE this event.  The students all look fantastic and to be honest,,, I have a ton of fun.  Once again, after the formal photographs we put up the white and let the kids come back for some un-etiquette photos.  Their personalities just keep me feeling like a kid.  Here are a few quick samples from the night’s fun. I find it almost impossible to convey through words just how much fun Trisha and I have every year photographing the kids at the YES Winter Ball.  Seeing them all in their dresses and tuxedos is such a contrast to how we normally see them.  We start the evening out with their formal portraits and then move into the N-formals.  A time where etiquette is not required.  A time when they can do anything they want.  A time when their personalities come shining through.

There were nearly 140 students this year and once the N-formals started, they just kept coming back time and time again.  We ended up with SO many photos this year that I know the parents are going to kill us.  I hope they enjoy seeing these as much as we enjoyed taking them.
