I’ve been looking at these photos for several days, trying to pick some to blog. Finally I made the decision to just pick some and go for it. I laughed so much when I was with these guys and I love the photos so much that I couldn’t pick 20 or so to put up here. As it turns out,,, I still couldn’t pick 20. Anyway, I know they deserve to see some of their pictures….. so here we are.
When I started the day out with Sarah at Anue Salon, I sat in the corner, laughing so hard at her, her grandmother, her mother and the amazingly funny hair dresser, Chelsea. My stomach hurt by the time I left to meet the guys at the church. I thought I would get a break, but I was wrong. Jordan and his guys were just as crazy as the women.
I guess I should stop writing and just show the photos. No matter what I try to write, it leaves me feeling as if I can’t convey how much I enjoyed getting to be part of their wedding.
Jordan and Sarah, I hope you two had a great honeymoon at Flip Flops in Jamaica and thanks for letting me hang out with you guys.

I’ve been looking forward to this wedding, not so much for the ceremony,,, but for the cake. Robyn has recently finished going to cullinary arts school in New York and this was her first wedding cake to create. Like a true artist of any type, she noticed “imperfections” in it,,, but it looked amazing to me. Very simple and very elegant. (I’m trying to talk her into opening a wedding cake business,,, we’ll see)
I also had the pleasure of watching three Bald Eagles fly around while talking to Tom’s mother, who is a licensed wildlife rehabilitation expert. She had a lot of interesting information about these birds and just watching them land on such small branches was incredible.
Robyn and Tom had a great wedding and I was thrilled to be part of it. By the time I left the reception in Johnson, I felt as if my family had gotten just a bit larger. I loved meeting both sides of the family and look forward to hopefully seeing them in the future.

So several months ago I had a conversation with a girl who was inquiring about a wedding gallery on our website. Turns out she was asking abut St. Catherine’s at Bell Gable chapel in Fayetteville. This past Friday, Trisha and I had the pleasure of spending the day with her at that chapel. Dixie and Agustin had a very intimate wedding ceremony with close friends and family that was followed up with the reception at James at the Mill in Johnson, Arkansas.
I wish I had all day to write about how much fun we had with them, but my writing would only bore you. Instead, I’ll stop writing and post the photos. I cannot wait to complete their gallery and let them see all the photos.
Thanks for letting us be part of your wedding day.

For the second year in a row I’ve gotten to photograph a wedding for family. This year my niece, Sara, had a beautiful outdoor wedding at Natural Falls State Park in Oklahoma. While I was photographing Sara getting ready I found myself thinking about watching her grow up… from the little girl who refused to throw her pennies into the fountain… to a beautiful woman who was getting married.
Anyway, she and Randy had a beautiful wedding. I hadn’t been to the park in years, but it was still as cool as I’d remembered and provided a beautiful backdrop for their ceremony. Here are a few photos from their wedding day.
