Sally and Jeremy had a gorgeous ceremony and reception at Lydia’s Weddings on Lake Norfork and I was the lucky guy who got to spend the day with them.  Not only did I get to meet their friends and family,,, who I might say made me feel as if I’d been part of their group for years,,, I also got to meet their dogs.  So when you add together a wonderful venue, a great couple, fantastic weather and a big party, you end up with one amazing wedding.

A lot of my wedding clients who get married close to Mtn. Home often find themselves in the position of planning their wedding from quite a distance.  This was the case with Brian and Katie… and I’m proud and thankful that they included me as part of those plans.  The wedding took place on the White River at Katie’s parent’s house.  Such a gorgeous location.

Part of what I loved about this wedding wasn’t the details… it wasn’t the flowers… it wasn’t the setting.  It was the story.  Two amazingly beautiful humans who had found one another.  Two people with big aspirations for the future.  Two people that, upon meeting, made me feel as if I was better off just for knowing them.  It wasn’t that they tried to make me feel that way… it was more to the fact that they didn’t try.  They were 100% themselves.  Nothing more, nothing less.  I wish everybody could have an opportunity to spend an evening with them.  I’m glad I did.

Here are my favorite images from their gorgeous wedding.

At the time I photographed these two for their engagement photos, I knew I was in love and couldn’t wait for their wedding.  I can’t wait to get their wedding photos up to share with you.

Nikki and Tyler have been clients of mine for quite some time now.  I’ve photographed Nikki’s senior portraits, I’ve had a couple of fun shoots with them, including maternity photos and baby portraits… along with some great shots in the snow last winter.

Here are a few photos from their wedding that took place at Lydia’s Weddings on Lake Norfork,,, on the ONLY rainy day of July.  It had been so amazingly hot,,, right up to the day they were planning their outdoor wedding.  We were thrilled for the slight dip in temperatures, but the rain wasn’t something that anybody had really planned on.  Luckily, a member of the wedding party ran into town and purchased the coolest clear umbrellas.
