In 1976 I met Jimmie Fanning. He and I have gone through life together, playing, fighting, being as close as brothers. We’ve spent summers on the lake fishing. After returning from the Gulf War in 1991 he was in my wedding.

This past week while visiting my dad in the hospital I found that Jimmie had a new baby. Paige Morgan was born March 15, 2006, weighing in at 7lbs 15 oz. She is beautiful, and more importantly, healthy.

Congratulations to Jimmie and his wife. It’s quite odd to see life come full circle as such. We were kids together, now we both have kids.

Dane Sanders, a photographer in California puts out a podcast called the Simple Photo Minute. The photographers he features are all top notch and the techniques he covers are well worth the time to view. For those who never shoot, well this may not be the most helpful, but it's still entertaining. For other photographers, professional and hobbyist,,, it's well worth the minute.

Well, it’s time to redisgn my business card, to update it to better match our newer website. After hours of looking at my computer screen, trying to decide on one design over another, Trisha and I have made a decision. So, although it’s just a minor thing, I wanted to share it with you.
