Ian was here at the studio earlier this week and he asked if we could take some photos of him in his new clothes. Of course I was ready to get out the camera and go to work. What I did not expect was how he was going to approach his session. I guess he’s watched as I edit my senior photo sessions a bit too much. Once I turned on the studio lights and pulled out a backdrop, he went into model mode. I gave him little, if any, direction. He just kept trying different poses and facial expressions. It was so fun to watch as he went through all the poses he thought would look good.
So, here are five photos from Ian’s session.

We wanted to wish all of our clients, friends and family a happy Thanksgiving. We will be out of the office until next Tuesday in order to visit with family.
We will be returning all phone calls and emails at that time.
Thanks,
jb

I love this album almost as much as I loved shooting their wedding. Great group. Great planning. Great time. There’s not much more that I can say….. as the album will take you through their day together much better than I could write about it.
So, here it is. Jeremy and Amy

Once again Trisha and I felt as if we were at a family reunion of our past clients. On October 27th we spent the day with Lissa and Damon in Fayetteville. We also had the luck to spend the day with two of our past couples, making this another wedding this year that we’ve had three of our couples together at one time. That was pretty cool.
So, we started the day with Lissa and her girls while they got their hair and makeup done. Lissa had an almost scary calmness about her. She was as cool and collected as any bride I’ve seen so far. Damon, well he was a bit nervous in the beginning of the day, but that soon changed and he was back to his normal self.
The ceremony was absolutely beautiful with gorgeous afternoon light helping illuminate the sanctuary, and the reception was just as nice. Watching Damon and Lissa mingle with their guests was hilarious. Both of them share an incredible sense of humor and are two of the most welcoming people I’ve ever met.
Here are a few of our quick favorites from their day. I’ll finish up the post with a photo of Erin, Russell, Damon, Lissa, Josh and Karla. I love my clients and appreciate that they gave me the chance to get a few shots of them together.
