Last year I photographed a wedding for David and Katherine in Little Rock. This April, I had the pleasure of seeing them at David’s sister’s wedding.
Patrick and Jill have already been written about on our old blog when we shot their engagement session. I’m posting a couple of their engagement photos here as well as a couple of her bridal portraits.

I absolutely love the church they were married in. The sanctuary really lends itself to awesome photographs. Combine the location with a great couple and I couldn’t have asked for a better day. Having already met Jill’s family, I knew I would be treated like one of the bunch, and David’s side was just the same. I left the wedding feeling as if I really had spent the day with old friends.

The reception was non-stop. I’m amazed at how certain groups seem to have more energy than I can imagine. These guys never stopped dancing.

Anyway, here are some of my favorite shots from the day.

Once in a while you just need something that makes you feel good, no matter how silly or simple it may be. Another photographer pointed this video out to me and it made me smile.

Sometimes, I guess you dance alone, and sometimes people join in.

When you dance, I hope you are joined by many friends and strangers. When you stop dancing, I hope those strangers have become your friends.

Thomas and Jessica are the first wedding couple to grace the pages of the new blog.

Trisha and I had an incredible day with these guys. Much like most of our wedding clients, I had not met either the bride nor the groom prior to the wedding day. They are perfect together. A very gorgeous couple who seem so happy when they’re together. Jessica and Thomas both have incredible smiles that were always on.

Here are a few photos from their wedding day.

Thanks for letting us be part of your beginning….
