Tom & Robyn – Bella Vista

I’ve been looking forward to this wedding, not so much for the ceremony,,, but for the cake.  Robyn has recently finished going to cullinary arts school in New York and this was her first wedding cake to create.  Like a true artist of any type, she noticed “imperfections” in it,,, but it looked amazing to me.  Very simple and very elegant.  (I’m trying to talk her into opening a wedding cake business,,, we’ll see)

I also had the pleasure of watching three Bald Eagles fly around while talking to Tom’s mother, who is a licensed wildlife rehabilitation expert.  She had a lot of interesting information about these birds and just watching them land on such small branches was incredible.

Robyn and Tom had a great wedding and I was thrilled to be part of it.  By the time I left the reception in Johnson, I felt as if my family had gotten just a bit larger.   I loved meeting both sides of the family and look forward to hopefully seeing them in the future.

Mildred B Cooper Memorial Chapel Wedding

Agustin & Dixie – Fayetteville

So several months ago I had a conversation with a girl who was inquiring about a wedding gallery on our website.  Turns out she was asking abut St. Catherine’s at Bell Gable chapel in Fayetteville.   This past Friday, Trisha and I had the pleasure of spending the day with her at that chapel.  Dixie and Agustin had a very intimate wedding ceremony with close friends and family that was followed up with the reception at James at the Mill in Johnson, Arkansas.

I wish I had all day to write about how much fun we had with them, but my writing would only bore you.  Instead, I’ll stop writing and post the photos.  I cannot wait to complete their gallery and let them see all the photos.

Thanks for letting us be part of your wedding day.

Natasha, Senior 2009

Natasha came to us all the way from Mt. Judea to have her senior portraits done.  It’s always a compliment when someone travels so far to have us shoot their session.  She had planned to bring her dog, but that didn’t work out.

Here are four of my favorites from her session.

Breanna, Senior 2009

Alright, it’s Breanna’s turn. We had so much fun fighting the wind and her hair,,, but even more fun at the studio. Breanna has awesome eyes and I love the look of them on the second shot below.

Trisha and I laughed so hard watching her and Nikki when all the cattle came up while we were shooting. Luckily,,, no calves attacked us. :)

Here are four of my favorites from Breanna’s session.

Nikki, Senior 2009

Ok, I had to flip a coin to see who’d get blogged first.  Nikki won…… so here we go.   (we shot two sessions simultaneously)

Here’s a couple of things I learned yesterday.

1.  Nikki doesn’t like cows.

2.  My car does not like rocks in the road.

3.  Nikki loves the camera.

Here are four faves from the day…

Abby at 1

Abby, my niece,  recently turned one and we finally were able to get her session in.   I met Abby and Marta at the family farm and it was such a beautiful November afternoon with great colors, beautiful light and warm air.  Here are six of my favorites (for now) from her session.
