I’ve been dying to get this wedding up on the blog… and finally it’s here. Trisha and I had so much fun with the couple and their families. Once again, we felt as if we left the wedding having gained new friends.
Ashley and Laura seem like they’ve known one another for a lifetime, showing a level of comfort with one another that is so cool to be witness to. Listening to Laura’s dad speak before dinner, you could tell that Ashley is truly in love… and has a great respect for her. That’s not the whole story of who they are though… they’re adventerous, fun and full of life. I kind of want to follow them around for a few years just to document their next adventure.
Thanks so much for letting us be part of your wedding. Trisha and I both hope you’ll love your photos for the rest of your lives.

I got up early on Saturday to meet the Walters family at one of the local parks for a really relaxed session. It was incredibly hot though, so we cut it a bit short…. and we’re going to do another shoot when the weather cools down a bit. However, we had a lot of fun and got some really beautiful photographs of mom and dad interacting with their two boys. I cannot wait until we get the chance to do it again.

We’ll call it the Edens since my sister-in-law and brother-in-law were involved and their last name is Edens…. and since it’s his family that we’re showing. Hopefully that will work. Apparently Monday is not the day I am supposed to figure out how to label an entire family.
Either way here they are. Just a few samples from our session. The one of Brent, Marta and Abby shows that sometimes it’s ok to have your bottle in the photo with you. Abby wasn’t having the best of days, but she made it through to the end. We finally got the photo of her kissing Nanna before it was over.

These two girls are so adorable and I could not have asked for them to be any easier to work with. Here are four of my personal favorites from their session.

What can I say? Kayla looked amazing in her wedding dress. Every time I’ve photographed her I ended up loving so many of the resulting photos. This time was no different. She and Chris had a beautiful wedding at Gaston’s Resort near Bull Shoals, AR, where they were joined by tons of friends and family…. and I was lucky to be part of it.
Here are a few of my favorite photos from the day. Only a few of them since there are so many that I want to post, but have to keep it to a manageable number for the blog.
