I was going through some photos from the past couple years and ran across this one from Matt and Amy’s wedding. I love the story of celebration that it tells. So, I decided to celebrate. Celebrate love. Celebrate weddings. Celebrate life.

A few days ago, Trisha and I met the Koeberlein family at the lake where they have all gathered to celebrate 40 years of marriage. The mom and dad came in from Illinios, as did one of their sons, while other family members came in from Colorado and Georgia. It was great to be able to spend a little time with them, and more importantly, provide them with some very casual portraits to document this celebration.
It was amazing that after just over an hour with them I felt as if they were close family friends.
