Who would have imagined getting two beautiful snow days in one winter in this area?  Two years ago I watched my two youngest children attempt to make a snow man out of less than 1/8th inch of sleet on top of the picnic table.  Today, I came home from my two portrait sessions to find a 7ft tall snow man being built in my front yard.  Life is good.

Last night, on a whim, I tweeted that I needed a couple for a shoot this morning… and ended up accepting a second.  We had a blast.  I know, without a doubt, that there will be more photos in the galleries that I like better than these, but I promised to get some of them on the blog tonight.  Here they are.  After that, I’m taking off my photographer hat and putting on my dad slippers and finding my spot on the sofa.

The first four are of Nikki and Tyler, while the last four are of Heather and Lyndle.  Thanks to both couples for braving the snow/ice packed roads this morning.
